Particularities and generalities must have something particular in common generally speaking, otherwise untraceable sophism may become an impenetrable redoubt, redoubtable to anyone who used to eat dairy to treat nightmares on a nightly basis.
Durations are unknown, because the length of the present moment is incalculable, the past does not exist anymore, the future does not exist yet, thus measuring time from a past point to the present time is incomprehensible. Measuring time from the present to a point in the future is nothing more than wishful thinking.
Until Elijah comes along, and tells you what is going to happen. Mostly talking about unfortunate events, disasters, calamities, unholy and faked holy wars.
However, Elijah and his equals, are talking about, not only, what will happen, but also what should happen.
It does not matter what the messengers are saying, because we do not listen to the message about what will happen, and neither about what should happen instead of the sad future facts, those, which are incalculable and do not exist yet, still we are told about.
